HOW TO MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE

I grew up like many of you on the music of Peter, Paul & Mary. They were my favorite group. Over the years I got to know them personally, and we all became friends. They are as wonderful as their music is.
Mary invited me to perform solo during one of their concerts which was a thrill. I also joined them in Washington at The White House singing “If I Had A Hammer”. There I stood, the only dulcimer player in history to play and sing with the famous trio.

Was this luck or one of those ‘meant to be’ things? I think it was both.
Here is the interesting thing about making your dreams come true. When you focus on what feels right to you, trust your gut, and feel inspired to follow your dreams, they usually come true. This blog and web site came to me the same way. One day I was thinking about my next career move and the thought came to me that people were interested in my life/ survival story ( see ‘About’ on the web site) which is why I created this web site.

But the PP&M magic did not stop there. Peter did a duet with me on ‘Puff the Magic Dragon” and Noel Paul Stookey produced an album of my original songs on dulcimer and synthesizer for his own record label.
